The Office of Public Affairs serves as the Agency's principal point of contact with clients, news media, businesses, outside agencies, and the general public.
Office of Public Affairs is responsible for informing the community about the Agency's operations and activities, including the Director's priorities and policies, key initiatives, and legal mandates. The Office advises department executives and the Director on all aspects of media relations and communications issues. The Director of Public Affairs coordinates the public affairs activities for all Agency departments and responds to requests for speakers and Agency representation at community events.
