Virtual - see below
Watch and be inspired: Ms. Linda Owens of Hayward has received KPIX Channel 5's Jefferson Award for her 34 years as a resource parent with SSA's Department of Children and Family Services (DCSF). You can watch the KPIX report to learn what her experience caring for more than 80 newborns means to her - and what her dedication has meant to DCSF and the community they serve. Mia Buckner-Preston of DCSF comments, "Her experience, the care, the love she provides to the babies - it's immeasurable."
