Wildfires Don’t Wait — Neither Should You!
May is Wildfire Awareness Month, and May 5–11 is California Wildfire Preparedness Week.

In 2024, CA faced: 8,000+ wildfires, 1M+ acres burned,  and 1,700+ structures lost

⚠️ Wildfires move fast. Be ready before they strike.

Use the 1-2-3 Wildfire READY Checklist:
1. Know your risk
2. Make a plan
3. Take action

Check in on older adults. Help in creating an evacuation plan, provide transportation or a place to stay and reach out periodically. A simple call could save a life.
